The weather looked promising as we set out for Oban. We had a good run up to Inveraray, stopped for usual refreshments then set off for Oban. Our luck had run out as the weather closed in, making the remainder of the run a wash out. However, that did not dampen our spirits for an evening of fun, sampling the local bars of their fine ale. The Oban Bay Hotel once again provided excellent comfort and food which was first class. The following morning, welcomed us with more rain. Careful riding was required for the conditions, but dried out as we reached Callendar. At least we could dry out on the remainder of the run home to Bonnyrigg, aye right! Roll on next year for sunny dry roads. Colin
