Everyone was looking forward to this event as it was one of the first planned events of the year. The main group turned up at the Retreat Castle, and huddled under the entrance trying to keep out of the rain. Doom and gloom was forecast for the trip up to Inveraray, with the odd optimistic hope that it would clear up further north. The remaining group joined on the M9 and we headed for Calander. A good scran was had with plenty of banter to try and waste time rather than ride in the rain. Not much luck with the long route planned. Hostel was adequate for some but not for others, however this did not spoil the fun during an eventful evening. Sunday was glorious with blue skys and dry roads for a great run home....for some I mean, no further comment.
